The Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) welcomed Scotland Office Minister Kirsty McNeill recently to the Rural Centre of Excellence (RCE) in Moray, a pioneering hub driving forward next-generation digital health and care solutions.
Archangel founder and chair Tom Morton was in attendance and commented “It was truly inspiring to feel Archangel is chosen to be a part of system transformation. The whole system was represented and I explained our part in the transformational change that’s happening in Moray to Minister McNeill.
“I was delighted to have an opportunity to explain how Archangel has used public funding to evolve from proof of concept to live demonstrator, working closely with Bield Housing & Care, and now beyond into commercialisation with true ROI.
“Speaking with others in the room clearly showed how Archangel functionality and inherent system architecture can be utilised to positively impact on peoples’ lives, enabling not just safer homes but greater inclusion and positive social impacts.
“I also reassured the minister that there is no technical reason to prevent the strategic vision being achieved. The only barriers are commercial and bureaucratic!” added Tom.
